The Other Side of Nature

In life, we find ourselves meeting several people; some of which, we will never remember their names, while we only have a very short (seconds to minutes) conversation with some.

However, some remain memorable and valuable to our lives for a long time, after which we realize that we don't need them anymore.
Nevertheless, some remain dearest to us even at the point of  sickness and death. Some become the brothers and sisters we never had. Some become the parents we never knew.

But what do you think about this? Is meeting people just coincidence? Or a mere natural proposition? Why do some people leave scars after they have gone while others leave the most pleasurable memories even years after they have parted!

In all these, I have come to realization that everyone whether good or bad has a role to play in our lives.

We must be open enough to see clearly and deeply through the inconspicuous meandering of a complex togetherness. Life is like a treasure, most times, we need to see beyond what our physical senses tell us in order to get the best out of it: we need to decipher gallantly the idiosyncrasies of an interwoven relationship whether they appear sweet or not.

But what is the essence of my write up? I am only reminding you of the perfect connectivity and phenomenon of the universe. Romans 8:28 tells us that *ALL THINGS* works together for good to them that love God.

All things.. I mean all things. The Bible wasn't particular.. It generalized the fact that everyone or anything that comes into your life is not a mistake. They are part of the divine orchestra orchestrated by the chief orchestra himself-God.

So what's God saying to you today? He says thus:

*There's something unique in everyone and everything you encounter in life.*

Nothing happens by mistake. You met me today because it has been destined even before you were born. You are part of the GroomingEmpoweredYouth today because you have a role to play or we have something invaluable to assist your quest for destiny fulfillment.

That naughty neighbor you have, that noisy and wicked boss you have, that nagging wife you have got, that stupid conductor you met, or that job interviewer that messed you up.... They are all playing a path in your life.

What should you do?

Sit back and see the good side of things. What is God telling you today through that domineering boss? Is He teaching you how to respect your subordinates? Is God teaching you how to learn house chores and a homely character by giving you harsh parents?

There are so many things to learn if only you look at the beautiful side of life!

I remain Matthew, founder of GroomingEmpoweredYouth - a ministry that focuses on helping destinies and making kings!

Fulfilling Christmas?

T oday is December 25 th , the long-awaited Christmas day. A day where everyone rejoices and celebrate in unison. There had not been any day like this where the whole world, whether Greek or Jew, white or black, Muslim or Christian, celebrate in unity. Indeed, this must be a special day. The world as we know enjoy celebration even in the midst of suffering, greed, poverty, lack and high political and economic tension. On a day like this virtually everyone pretends all is well just to have a full grasp of the day. Yes. All is well but is all really well? On a day like this, I spend more time resonating about the 358days which has gone by. I realised that I have lost many friends, made new friends, attended funerals, attended naming ceremonies. I have seen terrible accidents and I have even been involved in some. But yet I am standing. Oh, I didn’t die? Yea. But why didn’t I die? Am I better than those who died or lost one part of their body? The answer is No! Life is all abo...

Open Heavens 2014 daily devotion - Thursday July 31- A Friend In Jesus

Memorise: Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. John 15:14 Read: 1 Samuel 20:16-17 16 So Jonathan made a covenant with the house of David, saying, Let the LORD even require it at the hand of David's enemies. 17 And Jonathan caused David to swear again, because he loved him: for he loved him as he loved his own soul. Bible in a Year: Matthew 16:5-18:35; Message: A friend is someone who you share your heart with and who you can trust. A friend is also a person you like a lot. There are different categories of friends. There is a friend in need who is a friend indeed. This is a friend who helps you when you really need help. Ideally, friendship is reciprocal and the Bible enjoins those who have friends to reciprocate with a friendly attitude. Proverbs 18:24 says: “A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.” Jonathan was a friend indeed to David. He could perceive ...
