Happy Mother's Day!

It's amazingly beautiful to know that everyone is distinct and unique. We have our different life purpose and we must never get it twisted. Your parents are your first protector and provider but as you grow older, you become your own protector and provider. But you can only build on the foundation laid by your parents.

To me, fortunately, my mother laid that foundation perfectly well by teaching me about Jesus at a tender age. Today makes 365days she left our world to meet the Lord. One thing is confirmed that she made Heaven not because of her righteousness but for her unquestionably love for Christ.

Mum could take anyone who has no shelter in. She could feed anyone who had no food. She could clothe anyone without clothes. Funnily, they never repaid her. In summary, these same guys never even attended her burial. Life isn't it? Yes! But God has his way of rewarding His own by granting her eternal life.

Do good. Preach Jesus. Show love. Forgive. Let go bitterness. Take up your cross daily and follow the master. One day, we will leave this world. Where would you spend eternity? All your wealth and beauty would end here but what would pass on to eternity would be your soul and the works you did for Christ.

Today I celebrate my mother who in her death has raised Godly seeds that will touch more lives for Jesus, convert more soul to the Kingdom and finally meet her in Heaven when God calls us home.

As we celebrate Mother's day, Mothers must rise up to perform that very special task the Lord has given you: *RAISE GODLY SEEDS*

Happy mothers day

Valentine or Violent-Time (Part 3)

Over the years, some religious folks have defined and classified February 14 as the devil's day. They argue that the Valentine was not a Saint, and even if he was, it was not proper to keep a day to remember him. By God's grace, I have subjected myself to regular study of the scriptures and godly books in several libraries especially the e-libraries. My philosophy has been guided by the knowledge acquired from comparative and HOLYGHOST inspired study. If God is not against Christmas, and Easter, then why should He be against Valentine's Day? Many of us have known so much that we have created our own "Newer Testament" after the new testament of the Holy Bible. Is God against celebrations? Definitely, No! Jesus visited a wedding in Cana, he was at most Jewish feasts, and He organized a feast by feeding, on one occasion, 5,000 men. Our God loves feasting. He loves to see us celebrate. But all feastings must be done in Holiness in order to be approved ...

OPEN HEAVENS DEVOTIONAL-BELATED OFFERING - 08/03/2013

Yesterday’s message was titled “ ARE YOU A FALSE WITNESS  ”. Today’s message is titled  “BELATED OFFERING?”  as provided by Pastor E. A. Adeboye in Open Heavens Devotional (Adeboye, 2014). In today’s message, we have been asked to memorise  Genesis 27:20: "And Isaac said unto his son, How is it that thou hast found it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because the LORD thy God brought it to me. " . Today's reading is from  Mark 16:1-6  and the Bible in one year reading for today has been taken from  Jeremiah 36:1:- Jeremiah 38:6 and Psalm 55:16-23 Quoted below is the message for today. God bless you richly for your contribution When Isaac asked Esau his son to go and prepare a delicious meal of venison for him to eat so that he (Isaac) may bless him, Isaac's wife Rebekah heard it and took advantage of the distance between their tents and the field where Esau the hunter would get the bush meat. She also took advantage of the short distanc...

OPEN HEAVENS DEVOTIONAL - CARE FOR THE BRETHREN-30/04/2014

" CARE FOR THE BRETHREN " In today’s message, we have been asked to memorise   Philippians 4:19 : " But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus ” Today's reading was taken from  Romans 15:25-27  and the Bible reading in one year is   Revelation 8 to Revelation 11 and Psalm 93 (Adeboye, 2014). Quoted below is today's message for your input "Apostle Paul in the Bible reading for today, teaches us one missing ingredient of true discipleship in today’s contemporary Church; which is the ministry of care. Despite the great anointing with which Apostle Paul was ministering to both Jews and Gentiles, it is amazing to read that the ministry of care was not absent from his vocation as a preacher of the gospel. It is also interesting to note that the lives of the early apostles of Jesus Christ were not only in alignment with the teachings of Jesus Christ but were also in alignment with their own teachi...
