Cry aloud for help

And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭14:29-31‬ ‭KJV I want to share a very brief word for someone today. The Bible text above illustrates what we face in our lives on earth as Christians  First, we start up our Christian journey with the word of God that he has forgiven us, all things works together for good, we are the apple of God's eyes, no weapon fashioned against us shall prosper...the lines are fallen for us in pleasant places.. And some other scriptural promises... Then suddenly.... The wind of life blows us off our feet. We quickly forget God's word and fear takes over. We lost the faith we once had in His word and begin to struggle to keep up with o...

Happy Mother's Day!

It's amazingly beautiful to know that everyone is distinct and unique. We have our different life purpose and we must never get it twisted. Your parents are your first protector and provider but as you grow older, you become your own protector and provider. But you can only build on the foundation laid by your parents. To me, fortunately, my mother laid that foundation perfectly well by teaching me about Jesus at a tender age. Today makes 365days she left our world to meet the Lord. One thing is confirmed that she made Heaven not because of her righteousness but for her unquestionably love for Christ. Mum could take anyone who has no shelter in. She could feed anyone who had no food. She could clothe anyone without clothes. Funnily, they never repaid her. In summary, these same guys never even attended her burial. Life isn't it? Yes! But God has his way of rewarding His own by granting her eternal life. Do good. Preach Jesus. Show love. Forgive. Let go bitterness. Take...

New- Better than Queen Esther Book

A book is a door to someone's discovery. An access to an invaluable reservoir of knowledge and understanding. More importantly, a book inspired by God's word, is much more invaluable. The Broken Vessel?

Sometimes ago, I had a flask. It could keep hot liquid hot and cold liquid cold. The flask was efficient in its function . In short, I never joked with it. It gave me joy whenever I remember that I do not need the stove before making a hot tea. I had a sense of relief that I could get a hot/warm water within seconds. Nevertheless, one day, it broke. I felt so bad that I could not do anything to fix it. Immediately, the once upon a time important and useful flask became useless. So sad, isn’t it? Many years ago, God created a beautiful angelic being. This angel could sing and make God feel so good. This angel was so beautiful and every other angel wished they could be like him. Musical instruments were built in him. Every step he made produced beautiful & organized sound and exalting music. The angel became so full of himself. One day, he thought within himself, “ I will make my throne higher than God, I will set myself in the north”. He wanted to become higher than his creato...

The Other Side of Nature

In life, we find ourselves meeting several people; some of which, we will never remember their names, while we only have a very short (seconds to minutes) conversation with some. However, some remain memorable and valuable to our lives for a long time, after which we realize that we don't need them anymore. Nevertheless, some remain dearest to us even at the point of  sickness and death. Some become the brothers and sisters we never had. Some become the parents we never knew. But what do you think about this? Is meeting people just coincidence? Or a mere natural proposition? Why do some people leave scars after they have gone while others leave the most pleasurable memories even years after they have parted! In all these, I have come to realization that everyone whether good or bad has a role to play in our lives. We must be open enough to see clearly and deeply through the inconspicuous meandering of a complex togetherness. Life is like a treasure, most times, we need t...

Let Thy Pain Drive Thee

N ecessity, they say, is the mother of invention. Something becomes a necessity when its presence is required; its absence might also cause a little amount of pain. So, when people begin to find alternatives to reducing these pain, invention sprung up. So, I say, “let thy pain direct thee”. Life has never been a bed of roses and it will never be as long as humanity exist. Therefore, we all should expect pain in different levels. Sometimes the pain might be more. Other times, it might be less. But the fact remains that we will all experience pain in different aspect of our lives. But more importantly is the ability to learn from every pain we suffer or endure. Over the years, I realized that every good thing is wrapped in the arms of pain. Therefore, to claim a good thing, one has to overpower pain to achieve this goodness. Globally, economic and financial reports over decades have shown that inflation, depreciation and losses are consistent with human lives. In fact, the so c...
