CELEBRATING THE TRUE CHRISTMAS

What do you think would happen if you dashed into at the birthday party of a very affluent and influential fellow uninvited? Or would you go to any party without knowing the reason for the party? Would you celebrate with your neighbour without asking why? The answer to these questions is NO! But so many of us celebrate Christmas without knowing why. We dash into Christmas without accepting the invitation. Do you know where the term Christmas was derived from? CHRISTMAS- CHRIST’S MASS- CELEBRATION OF CHRIST JESUS. So when you celebrate Christmas, you celebrate Jesus. But how do you celebrate the one who you do not know? Many people often jump happily at the mention of Christmas. They are glad they saw the end of the year and are able to join others celebrate the season. But celebrating the true Christmas is to know Jesus who is the reason for the season! DO YOU KNOW JESUS? DO YOU HAVE HIM ...

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL: Tuesday 31 December WORKING OUT AN ALTERNATIVE?

Tuesday 31 December WORKING OUT AN ALTERNATIVE? Memory Verse: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;Romans 4:20 Read:Genesis 16:1-4 1 Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had a n handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar. 2 And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the Lord hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai. 3 And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife. 4 And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes. How to get new wine for the New Year!

Jesus need be invited into your life this 2014 John 2:1-3 KJV (1) And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: (2) And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage. (3) And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. There are some pertinent lessons I want us to glean from the account of the first ever miracle of our Lord Jesus Christ. Verse 2 says: And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage… This is very important! In your relationship and or marriage, don’t just call your ‘disciples’ but make sure you call Jesus as well! When the chips are down, the disciples cannot do anything about the wine that is beginning to wane; only Jesus will! Note that we are not talking about wedding here, but marriage! Wedding is a one day affair, but marriage is for the lifetime. In 2014, for your relationship and or marriage to work, you’ve got to have Jesus in the party, so that wh...

Testimony on my lips PART ONE

www.facebook.com/groomingempoweredyouth Today, 12 th April, 2013 mark the great beginning of testimonies on my lips. I am so happy to write this because I have waited so long for this day, I am going share with you my testimony and I would made sure that every word here doesn’t show any sign of pride or arrogance so as to give the due glory to God Himself, for him only has given me the testimony on my lips. I learnt so many lessons during my job hurt, and that’s what I want to share humbly with you. I believe the Lord laid it in my heart to let you know why you have not still gotten that job. Every delay is never a denial; God only wants you to learn something. I got that vision from the scriptures. And I began asking God that “what do I need to learn now that I have not learnt?”. Even we, men would never buy a car for our 8yrs son as a birthday gift. So likewise God, he would never give you what would kill you in time. God wants you to develop three aspects in your life. And...

END TIME: Rapture’s A Ruse, Heaven And Hell Are Here On Earth, Says Controversial Pastor Who Serves Church Members Alcohol

Founder of “As The Lord Said, It Should Be Done Temple” Blessed Oguguamakwa Dikeh has emphatically told Christians to forget about the second coming of Jesus Christ known in the Bible as ‘rapture’, saying that it would never come to pass. He also said that the New Testament is full of mistakes, adding that the original Bible of God is known as the ‘scull’. The controversial cleric, who has a penchant for wearing red colored fabric and adorning his  place  of worship with the color in an Interview with Daily Independent asserted that, “There is nothing like rapture. If you tell me that rapture means when a person dies, his soul goes back to God and his flesh to the dust, then I will agree, but anything other than that, I don’t agree. Don’t let anybody deceive you”. He also argued that contrary to the popular Christian belief that when ‘sinners’ die they will be cast in to  hell  – a  place that burns with fire and brimstone, Pastor Dikeh said there ...
